VegasLand Review: Top features, Markets & Odds

Like all of ASG Technologies sites the sportsbook at VegasLand UK is powered by BtoBet, a company owned by the owners of ASG Technologies themselves, Aspire Global (also based in Malta). BtoBet’s excellent betting platform is well known, globally, but few sites in the UK use it, so you many be in for a new experience at VegasLand.

There are more than enough sports betting options at VegasLand. Football is the leading market with as many as 1,000 bets available at any one time. Also hot at VegasLand are tennis and all the US sports. Esports betting is absolutely huge at VegasLand UK, and we found eSports betting opportunities for CS:GO, Dota 2, League of Legends, Overwatch 2, Rainbow 6, Starcraft and Call of Duty, Valorant and Arena of Valor.

VegasLand Odds

Horse racing is not that much of a priority in VegasLand, or so it seems. For this reason, the site does not offer ‘best odds guaranteed’. Greyhounds does not feature at all.

We did compare the odds offered at VegasLand for specific events to the odds offered by other sports betting sites, and found them to be very competitive indeed.

VegasLand Limits

The minimum accepted deposit at VegasLand is £10, and that’s for most deposit options available at the site. The minimum accepted stake is £0.09. If you think that’s an odd amount, we think the minimum stake at VegasLand is €0.10, and (at the time of writing) one Euro was worth around 90p.

The maximum allowed stake is even odder – £8,540490.77  – but again, we think is the EUR to GBP conversion taking place, as that amount is around €10,000,000. The minimum amount you can withdraw per transaction is £10.

In-Play Betting

The in-play markets available at VegasLand can easily be accessed via the ‘In-Play’ tab on the main sportsbook page. This will switch you over to all events that are currently happening ‘right now’.

Of course, football takes priority again as you would expect, but beyond that any major and most minor live events are covered. The site does not think there is any significant difference between live sporting events and live eSporting events, as all are mixed in together in the ‘in play’ section.

Live Streaming

The availability of sports live streaming is always a key aspect of any top class sports beting site, but unfortunately there is absolutely no live streaming of any description at the VegasLand sports betting site, and that includes eSports. Due to the live streaming monopoly of other more established sites, we can’t see that changing in the near future.

Other Features

The BtoBet software has recently added a Bet Builder option. This allows you to chain together a number of aspects of any particular single event to create a combo bet of your own design. It really is useful if you are very knowledgable about a particular sport or event.

One superb aspect of this, at most sites Bet Builders are only available on football. At VegasLand though Bet Builders can be used on football, tennis, Aussie rules, American football, baseball, basketball, cricket, ice hockey, rugby league and rugby union. This is excellent, but please be aware you cannot ‘mix and match’ – all Bet Builder bets must be on a singular match.

Customer Service

VegasLand says that as far as it is concerned, customers are really excellent. It really spells it out – C.A.R.E. Of course any site has to prove that it thinks customers are really excellent, instead of just saying so.

Live chat is available 8am to midnight CET. We tried it and were told our query would be answered in ‘1 minute/s or less.’ It did take more than a minute before we were contacted, but it was less than three so we deemed that acceptible. The answers we received to our queries were concise and perfectly adequate.

The only other way of contacting VegasLand is through email. This can only be done using a web form at the site.

VegasLand review – Pros & Cons

When we review an online bookmaker, we are aware that not everybody want to read the whole review. For those TL;DR folks here now are the main plusses and minuses what we have found looking around the VegasLand sports betting site.

  • Markets Coverage – The BtoBet software certainly has enough markets, and the only disappointment really is the lack of coverage for horse racing (scant) and greyhounds (non-existent). The markets for American sports is excellent, and for eSports it’s exceptional.
  • Bet Builder – Not only is it brilliant that VegasLand has a Bet Builder, it is almost sensational that the Bet Builder is available on more than football. The majority of sites structure their Bet Builders on football only, so it is absolutely superb that the VegasLand Bet Builder is available on a number of other sports too.
  • Banking Options – There is one common payment method missing at VegasLand and that’s Neteller, but that should not cause any issues as there are plenty of others. Don’t forget to make your first deposit using a debit card if you want to successfully claim that Vegas Land welcome bonus.

  • Live Streaming – Fewer and fewer sites are now offering live streaming, and that, we think, is because more established sites have created a live streaming monopoly. We are surprised though that live streaming of eSports is not an option.
  • Apps – There is no such thing as VegasLand app, which again is disappointing. The site works adequately on mobile devices but we feel the introduction of a VegasLand app would be ideal.
  • Promotions – The VegasLand promotions available – both at the casino and the sportsbook – are a little underwhelming. We’d like more of them, and better ones please!

Final thoughts on VegasLand

ASG Technologies are getting more involved in the sports betting side of things in the UK, after launching several successful online casinos, including one of our real favourites, Mr.Play.
