Who are DAZN Bet?

You would think that as a new 2022 venture, DAZN Bet (and yes, we have got that right – DAZN is displayed in capitals throughout the site) would shout about themselves a little bit more but they don’t, so we have had to do a little bit of investigating.

We quickly found out that DAZN Bet is run by a company called One Click Limited. This company is based in Mosta, which is in Malta. They own licences for both casino (which is reassuring as DAZN Bet UK hosts a casino too) and ran a small number of other online ventures – CasinoLand, Great British Casino and Spin Vegas, to name but three. DAZN itself is a sports news and streaming platform that’s been running since 2016.

DAZN Bet seems to be their first sports betting venture, though. We were big fans of the Great British Casino, which bodes very well for One Click Limited’s new sports betting venture.

Is DAZN Bet Safe?

DAZN Bet runs under One Click Limited’s sporting betting licence from the United Kingdom Gaming Commission, which was awarded in May 2022. They have an active casino licence too, which means DAZN Bet’s casino options are covered too. We’ve notived that One Click Limited have closed a couple of their casino concerns, so that means they are concentrating mostly on the DAZN Bet sports betting brand.

This site is another that has recognised their responsibility towards their client and they have a number of ‘responsible gambling’ options. These include available financial budgeting tools, setting deposit, loss and wagering limits, plus time budgeting tools such as reality checks and taking time out. You can even self-exclude if you want. All these tools help you to keep yourself perfectly safe.

DAZN Bet uses stringent encryption tools too, so you’ve no need to worry about your data falling into the wrong hands.

DAZN Bet Sign Up Offer

The DAZN Bet sign up offer is a bet £5 to get a £5 free bet deal, with 10 free spins worth 10p each throw in. Once you have completed your sign up at the DAZN Bet UK website (we instruct you how to do this later on in this DAZN Bet review) you need to head to the DAZN Bet cashier and make a minimum deposit of £5.

Following that, you need to place a £5 wager on any of the thousands of sports betting markets available at the site. The odds of your wager though must be 1/2 (1.50) or greater. Within 24 hours of that qualifying bet settling, you receive your DAZN Bet free bet and the free spins.

You can use your free bet on any sports market event at the DAZN Bet website as long as the odds are at least 1/2 (1.50). While you cannot cash out your DAZN Bet welcome offer free bet (it can only be used for wagering) and – as is usual with these types of deals – the stake is not returned should your DAZN Bet free bet win, it does remain valid for six months. The free spins have a far shorter timeframe of just seven days.

Now, in our DAZN Bet review we next like to do what we always do in any review and outline other promotions offered by the site. Sadly, we are unable to do that here as there are currently (at the time of this DAZN Bet review) no other promotions available. This is something of a shame and we hope that the DAZN Bet bookmaker will offer a wider range of promotions soon.

One thing to look out for though are DAZN Bet boosts. These are special bets that combine two or three events but give you better odds than you’d receive if you placed the bet without the boosted added. These are added on a weekly basis so remember to check out the DAZN Bet bookmaker site to see what boosts are available.

Dazn Bet Review: Top features, Markets & Odds

DAZN Bet is a new venture for the experienced One Click Limited and as far as we can make out, their sports betting software is provided by Pragmatic Solutions who are not, as we first expected, anything to do with casino software developers Pragmatic Play. The DAZN Bet bookmaker site does though have a very generic look and feel, so if you’ve used any kind of sports betting software before then you won’t find anything to trouble you here. One thing to point out – the DAZN Bet bookmaker website is one of the fastest-responding sites that we’ve yet encountered.

Dazn Bet Sports Betting

The default look at DAZN Bet is ‘featured’ – this will outline all the top sporting events that this bookmaker will think you will be the most interested in. The numbers are very impressive – over 3,000 available markets at any one time. The majority (two-thirds) of those markets will be football, which is only to be expected.

The markets also give out the big numbers including tennis, American football, basketball, handball, ice hockey and table tennis. We found over 30 separate sports covered at the site, including some very niche pastimes such as biathlon, futsal and indy racing.

One disappointment at the DAZN Bet bookmaker though – absolutely no eSports coverage. This, we think, is something of an oversight, and maybe even a big one.

Dazn Bet Odds

The DAZN Bet bookmaker does not have ‘best odds guaranteed’. If a site does have this this means that they review their odds for each event once per day to make sure the odds that they offer are at least as good as the odds offered by any other site.

We did an odds comparison of our own with the current odds offered by DAZN Bet for the latest round of EPL matches and we found no issues. The odds offered by this sports betting site may not be the very, very best, but they are close enough to the ‘best odds’ for you not to worry about it.

Dazn Bet Limits

In terms of deposit and withdrawal limits, DAZN Bet offers a minimum deposit limit of £5, which is truly excellent. The maximum is £5,000 but we do encourage you to set your own deposit limits to aid responsible gambling. The minimum withdrawal is also £5 which again, is very good. The maximum you can withdraw in one transaction is £50,000.

When placing a bet at the DAZN Bet bookmaker there seems to be a minimum bet limit of just £0.10. The maximum you can bet depends on the market and event.

In-Play Betting

You can switch your view over at the DAZN Bet bookmaker to view the in-play markets available with just a click. This will immediately take you to the site’s ‘In Play’ section where all current live events are available for wagering. We have to admit we were a little disappointed by the number of markets available. Not having any eSports available does add to the lack of live markets here.

If you are into football live betting then you will be pleased with the number of live events available at any one time, though. All football markets will have a decent number of potential live bets available too.

Live Streaming

Unfortunately, live streaming is not available at DAZN Bet. This is to be expected, as DAZN Bet is a new site, and it’s only really the ‘big boys’ of live sports betting that can provide live streams. Hopefully the DAZN Bet bookmaker will grow and grow and provide live streaming in the future.

DAZN Bet’s parent site – DAZN – does offer live sports streaming, however the streaming aspect may not be available to people in the UK.

Other Features

DAZN Bet does have a small number of ‘other features’, and here next in our DAZN Bet review we run through the biggest and most useful of them:

  • My Favourites – Gain easy access to your favourite sports and teams by clicking the ‘favourite’ button. Head to this section for the latest bets for your faves.
  • Calendar – look through all upcoming events, which you can filter by sport and sort by competition or time of event.
  • Load Bet Code – every event you bet on generates a bet code. If are thinking of betting on an outcome, but don’t want to commit at the time, you can just take note of the bet code then head to the ‘load bet code’ section and load your code to find your bet. This prevents the need to work through the menus to find the outcome all over again.
  • DAZN Boosts – get the latest DAZN bet boost that this sites offers – specific combo bets with boosted odds!

Customer Service

If you need help at DAZN Bet then you can get it first from the site’s extensive knowledge base. There are plenty of subjects and a search function, so if you have a common query that needs answering you should find an answer there.

The casino site has plenty of top slots and from many leading providers. With regards to slots there are only a small number, but at least it’s a small number of very good slots like Big Bass Bonanza, Buffalo King and Wolf Gold.

Aside from the slots there are table games too – but only four: Baccarat, Multihand Blackjack, Roulette and American Blackjack. The entire casino portfolio is completed by five scratchcards.

If you are really into your casino play, then you’re not going to find all you want at the DAZN Bet casino (there’s no live casino for a start), but as a casual distraction from the sports betting side of things, it’s ideal.

Just like most other online bookmakers, our DAZN Bet review has revealed many positives and a handful of negatives about the DAZN Bet bookmaker site. We’ve outlined the main plusses and minuses in the section below.

  • Registration – We found the registration process at DAZN Bet to be extremely quick, and we like the idea of sending a registration code via your phone to complete your application a lot. For a start it makes sure you’re a UK resident, as you can only enter UK mobile phone numbers!
  • Bet Boosts – Many sites offer bet boosts but they often combine wild bets and the boosts are not that spectacular. That does not seem to be the case at DAZN Bet as the boosts we found were for top EPL games and the boosts would double any winnings!
  • Low Deposit and Withdrawal Limits – Not everyone is a high roller when it comes to sports betting, so it’s great that DAZN Bet will accept deposits as low as £5. Small withdrawal limits are always beneficial too, and the five pound limit available at DAZN Bet is great to see.
  • Support – We found the levels of support we received at DAZN Bet to be exceptional. Support is something we’ve found lacking recently at a number of new sports betting sites that we’ve reviewed, but that is most definitely not the case here.

What We Don’t Like:

  • No eSports betting – We get it that DAZN Bet is an off-shoot of the DAZN Bet sports site which does not cover eSports, but having eSports avialable to place bets on at the DAZN Bet site should be something that’s part of the markets at the site.
  • Apps – Even though the mobile-optimised version of DAZN Bet does look very good on phones and tablets, we think it important that apps are available for sports bettors who want to have bespoke apps instead. A DAZN Bet app ought to be added soon.
  • Promotions – Again, that welcome bonus available at DAZN Bet is a good one, but other than that, other promotions such as a DAZN Bet free bet are not available. We hope that DAZN Bet will add more promotions soon.

Final thoughts on Dazn Bet

DAZN Bet is a brand new venture and even though we’re not aware of the DAZN sports news and streaming site (the streaming aspect does not seem to be available in the UK anyhow) we have to say we are impressed. We’re aware of the company behind DAZN Bet (One Touch) and we always liked their casino offerings. We’re a little upset that they’ve chosen to close classic casino sites such as CasinoLand and the Great British Casino. We have to say though that if they are concentrating all their efforts on DAZN Bet we’re very excited! We like what this DAZN Bet review has uncovered, and a lot!

Perfection has not been created though, as there are no eSports to mention and bonuses wise, there’s nothing beyond that initial DAZN Bet free bet or risk-free bet. We hope these omissions will be rectified soon.
