US-based retail chain Target was the second most popular brand on TikTok in 2022. Target received mentions from 11,200 TikTok influencers last year. Popular streaming platform Netflix was the third most popular brand on TikTok. Netflix was mentioned by 8,500 influencers on TikTok in 2022.
French personal care and beauty product brand Sephora is next on the list of popular brands among TikTok influencers in 2022. Sephora was mentioned by 7,500 influencers.
E-Commerce giant Amazon was fifth on the list with 6,900 influencers. US coffeehouse brand Starbucks was the sixth most popular brand among TikTok influencers with 5,900 mentions.
Seventh on the list, US-based mass media conglomerate Disney found mentions from 5,700 TikTok influencers in 2022.
Cosmetic and beauty brand SHEGLAM features next on the list. SHEGLAM was mentioned by 4100 influencers. UK-based and women-centric fast fashion brand PrettyLittleThing was featured in the mentions of 3900 influencers.
The list was completed by another fast fashion brand Fashion Nova. The US-based retailer was mentioned by 3900 influencers.
In comparison to Instagram, influencer marketing is still at an early stage. Furthermore, the comparison of popular brands among influencers on both platforms throws up some interesting options. The range of top brands on TikTok appears much more diverse than on Instagram. Particularly, cosmetic and beauty brands don’t figure among the top brands on Instagram.
Additionally, some of the popular fast fashion brands on TikTok are relatively smaller than popular fast fashion brands on Instagram such as Zara and H&M.
