BetMGM responds to Cheltenham confusion over a bet placed at the horse racing festival in the 14:50pm race on March 12th.

BetMGM Responds To Cheltenham Confusion

The betting operator faced criticism on social media following the race and have now released a tweet highlighting the terms/conditions.

Across the four days at Cheltenham Festival, betting fans had a list of operators to choose from and BetMGM were pushed due to its intriguing offers.

BetMGM reiterated that each way bets were an option for five horses and not six which has been believed at the time of Tuesday’s race.

An error was made by one of the operator’s agents but BetMGM UK confirmed that every bet was settled correctly and was in alignment with the terms prior to the race.

This statement comes after the betting operator experienced issues within the site and was an unfortunate situation – as BetMGM debuted at Cheltenham.

Enticing new customers with some great offers and marketing techniques, customers faced a host of issues when logging into the site and problems during transactions.

Various social media platforms were full of complaints and gave BetMGM no choice but to reassure users that bets, deposits, and withdrawals would be fulfilled in due course.

BetMGM UK has attempted to cement itself as one of the leading operators since opening up in the UK in August 2023.

It has the support of USA’s infamous MGM Resorts and has made strong strides by hiring recognisable names like Chris Rock and working with other key operators like LeoVegas.

Chris Welch, CCO at Leo Vegas, continues to praise the partnership between BetMGM and Leo Vegas, despite the recent issues in the UK site.

However, BetMGM has seen a huge rise in popularity in the United Kingdom and betting enthusiasts have continued to download the app – ignoring the problems faced.
