Following England’s dominant win 71-0 against Chile, SafeBettingSites.com polled 3,100 England Rugby fans in the Reddit group r/rugbyunion, and asked if they believe England can win the Rugby World Cup?

Surprisingly, even after going unbeaten in their first three games, 84% of England fans believe they have no chance of winning the coveted Webb Ellis Cup.

England fans are still highly skeptical of their chances to win this year, with 86% adamant England won’t lift the Webb Ellis Cup.

One passionate England fan in the Reddit poll said; “I’m an England fan; a proud one, but it’s highly unlikely we win.”

Another followed up with “More confident than I was I suppose, I’m now at 3%. Honestly, if we can get through a quarter final against one of Wales, Australia or Fiji and then not embarrass ourselves in the semis then I don’t think that would be the worst result. To get into a final would require a massive upset though. To win the thing would require two.”

England will be hoping for another dominant performance against Samoa in their next game which will hopefully provide fans with a bit more optimism as they move into the knockout stages.
