Exclusive: ‘This Morning’ Bookies Favourite For NTA Award Despite Philip Schofield Controversy

The nominations have been announced for this year’s National Television Awards (NTA), and SafeBettingSites.com have compiled exclusive early odds for each category below.

2022 winners This Morning are once again favoured to scoop the Daytime award, even after months of controversy swirling around now-ex co-presenter Phillip Schofield.

The 61-year-old resigned from the show’s broadcaster ITV in May after admitting he had been embroiled in an “unwise but not illegal” relationship with a significantly younger male colleague.

ITV are now understood to be undertaking their own investigation into allegations of bullying behind the scenes at This Morning, but this hasn’t stopped the hugely popular show from being favoured for successive awards.

The show has already proven it can survive, and succeed, in the face of adversity after Scholfield and his now-former colleague Holly Willoughby were accused of skipping the line to see Queen Elizabeth lying in state.
