Coin Master is surprisingly leading Android apps in the Google Play Store worldwide in September 2022 by revenue, above the likes of TikTok, Candy Crush and Pokemon Go.

Data published by Statista and sourced by Safe Betting Sites reveals Coin Master’s revenue in September 2022 sits at $47.96m, compared to TikTok at $40.66m despite not being in the top 10 most downloaded Google Play Store apps in the same month.

Coin Master leading apps in Google Play store by revenue, $7m more than TikTok in Sept 2022

Coin Master is the number one app on the Google Play Store by revenue with almost $48m made in September 2022, above TikTok, Candy Crush and Pokemon Go.

Coin Master also has almost five times more revenue than popular dating app Tinder in September 2022.

Coin Master is not even in the Top 10 most downloaded apps on the Google Play store in September

Despite Coin Master’s impressive revenue at $47.96m in September 2022, the app doesn’t make it into the top 10 most downloaded apps for the month on the Google Play Store.

The number one app with the most downloads in September 2022 is TikTok, with over 24 million.

The Google Play store has the highest number of apps available out of leading app stores in Q2 2022

The Google Play Store is the market leader in apps available, with 3.5 million apps ready to install in the second quarter of 2022.

This is significantly greater than Apple’s App Store with 2.2 million and Amazon’s Appstore with 500k.

However Apple App store is generating double worldwide consumer spending on mobile apps and games

Despite the Google Play Store having 1.3 million more apps available to download than Apple’s App Store, the latter is generating double worldwide consumer spending on apps and games compared to the Google Play Store.

In the third quarter of 2022, Apple’s App Store generated almost double worldwide consumer spending compared to the Google Play Store with $21.2bn compared to less than half at $10.4bn.

Despite Coin Master dominating the field in terms of revenue, the app can’t break into the top 10 in terms of downloads on the Google Play Store, Apple App Store or Amazon Appstore.

Consumers also appear to spend significantly less when using the Google Play Store, compared to the Apple App Store who generate twice as much revenue as their rival.
